NILI's 2026 TRaiLS: Tux̠ámshish Revitalization Learning Series
The Tux̠ámshish Language Revitalization Learning Series, known as TRaiLS, is a series of talks and discussions on Indigenous language restoration and revitalization hosted by the Northwest Indigenous Language Institute (NILI) at the University of Oregon. The series is named for our late Elder and teacher Átway Tux̠ámshish, Dr. Virginia Beavert, to honor her and her role in establishing the work that NILI does through the University of Oregon. Sessions feature daily presentations and conversations in an online, interactive forum where language revitalization practitioners discuss issues of importance to themselves and their communities.
